Eazy Pee-zy Wipes

Experiencing a run on toilet paper because of a pandemic? Do you want to use less toilet paper? Need some mindless knitting to calm your anxiety? Look no further than Eazy Pee-zy Wipes.

Save the tp for #2 and use these soft petite wipes for your #1 drying needs. Soft Pima cotton is much more comfy than dry paper anyway, and with each wipe at 10g, you'll have enough for ten wipes in each skein. Calming garter stitch knitting makes this a relaxing knit and the double slipped stitch edge makes the wipe neat and handsome.

Supplies

Needles: US 5/3.75mm
Yarn: Berroco Pima 100 or other super soft cotton
Other supplies: darning needle, scissors
Gauge: 6sts/inch but honestly, just knit until you get something square-ish

I used Pima 100 from The Yarnery.

Finished measurements: about 4x4"

Directions

Using the long tail cast on, cast on 26 stitches.

sl1wyif*, knit 23 sts, sl1wyif*, k1

Knit in pattern until you have a fabric that's 4" long, about 42 rows. Bind off and weave in ends

*With the yarn in front, slip one stitch onto the right needle as if you were purling.

Edit: If you need or want more absorbency, hold the yarn double and cast on 20 sts.
